Sterling Silver Ring Care
Our sterling silver rings are made to be worn and loved every day and actually benefit from the natural oils secreted naturally by our skin, but like all precious metals, they benefit from a little care.
To keep your ring looking its best:
- Store in a dry place, ideally in the SOH ring box your ring was provided in as these are specially treated with anti tarnish technology
- Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, and cleaning products
- Polish gently with a soft jewellery cloth to restore shine
A little note:
Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time, which can cause slight darkening. This is completely normal and easily reversed with a gentle polish.
If a deeper clean is needed, wash it in warm water with a small amount of mild soap, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Gold Filled Ring Care
Our gold filled rings are designed for everyday wear, with a thick layer of gold that is much more durable than gold plating.
To care for your ring:
- You can wear your ring daily, but removing it during swimming, showering, and workouts will help preserve its finish
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, oils, and harsh chemicals
- Store separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratching
- Clean gently with warm water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly
A little note:
Gold filled jewellery won’t easily tarnish, but proper care will keep it glowing for years to come.
